Mark Worman

I just began to watch the 'Rad Rides by Troy' series. Very different format. No BS and horsing around there....
His Troy's builds & superior fab skills, talent
looks as good before paint, or interior as they do after

very different caliber of shop for sure

I don't like Youtube much, all the censoring BS
anyway....
I spend way too much time on the computer already
I don't want to go down that rat hole

I wish his show was still on the boob-tube
replace one of the many **** shows, pigs with lipstick
we have about restorations, foreign & domestic

I wonder over & check it out from time to time
that 66 (?) Belvedere Alum-Hemi twin rear turbo'd
he did last year, maybe 2 years ago (?) was freaken badass

I don't care for the wheels at all, but the style of the car is cool as hell
steelies & poverty caps are way overdone in my opinion
but that's my personal pet peeve

I know it's not the OE Restoration many here look for
but the shop & troy are some if not the best

that 69 Talladega Torino/GT
Bonneville or track style car, was freaken' work of art
before it was even painted

like apples & oranges in comparison to many builders & shows

I like the close out panel in front of the rad support in that one shot. I need something like that. I'll keep that idea on the back burner for now. Got these two close outs sanded down and primered today.

I watched a few episodes of Texas Metal. It's on MotorTrend as well. Lots of custom fab work to watch, no drama, talented folks.

I respect his business family and employees he's having fun ,it's just TV. He'll probably say something stupid and get canceled.
I watch the show for the beautiful cars and information, my wife can't stand Mark Worman maybe that's why I keep watching the show

I liked it at first. But It really sucks that the producers of the show probably prod him to get more goofy content. The last time I watched it was less eye revolting and a bit more information. Less of the goofiness.
I liked Dave Rea. He actually explained how things worked, and one episode he explained how to refurb a steering column. Now it's goofy cartoons.

I don’t watch any of those shows at all. I learn nothing from them and they have no entertainment for me. There is way more information right here, more than all of those shows combined. Nicer people here also.

Everybody can learn something.. No Mark Worman, Never would be a show.
How many other similar shows are available ?? Want to start one ?
Worst Mopar show is better than the best any-other makes show...

Roadkill Garage all the way. Mopar guys (even though they do other stuff too) having fun and burnin' rubber on the dusty roads of the central valley...just like me.

pretty sure I just heard Worman claim to be born a poor black child :drama:

yup, he is a jerk. I don't care how knowledgable he appears to be. I won't watch him.
Now I like Nicks garage. Nick is down to earth, and truly cares about his customers. He admits when he doesn't know something, and doesn't bullshit the viewer.
Two months ago I emailed him a question about how to get my compression up on a 69 383 for my Cuda. he actually called me and talked over the suggestions. This was at 8:00 in the Morning!
You think Mark would give a damn about any subscribers or Viewers? Nope

Yep, Nick is the best. I've had several written correspondences with him and he even called me one evening
on his way to the dentist to talk over my buying brake shoes from Porterfield Brakes in California.
Amazing - the dude was having some serious dental pain and was on the way to have an extraction, yet
he felt the need to call me.
I was floored!

I hesitated on posting a reply but I guess with 5 pages of replies I might as well throw my experience in. So I have had several conversations on the phone with Mark over a few projects. A mutual friend reached out to me and indicated they had a car I would be interested in. I reached out to Mark, who replied and said let's talk. We arranged a phone call, we spoke, he was extremely polite and forthcoming about the car he had. We talked for about 20 minutes, various other projects, including my story about my Hemi GTX. The deal for the car he had could not be worked out, but he did offer a LOT of advice on my GTX. He was NOTHING like he is on TV, and when I spoke to Will Scott, Will said he is goofy but most of the schtick is done for television and/or is prompted by the producers. I have kept in touch with Will and Dave Rea whom both have been unbelievably helpful in knowledge transfer, restoration processes, little details, sourcing hard to find items, etc. The show to me is great because I like Mopars, that's it. The cartoons and the schtick while cringe worthy is chalked up to TV.

I've caught a few episodes lately on Tuesday night, a lot of the nonsense seems to have disappeared. Much of the silly stuff I've ignored anyway in the past. But although the producers have a dopey cartoon in there, Doug and Will do a good job in their part.

I love the car shows without any drama or stupid chit. Love the ones that show me the "how to".
I care less if Mark has some strange humor, or the stupid stuff comes from the producer, it is a Mopar show and that deserves at least some of my viewing time.

How to get your television show and yourself canceled in short order! Sometimes the clueless cannot be helped!

LMAO....... let me clarify

I was flipping around and saw his show was on, so I stopped.

He was going on about working a job at 13; and how he is not in his high school yearbook, because he quit school to work and support his family........ with a tumor in his foot

I added the poor black child part :D
