I have watched many people put new carpet in their car and then fight to get the seats mounted. Can not find the holes. Easy is the word. Put the carpet in and go under the car and push a screw driver up through the carpet. Takes 8 and then when you put the seat in, you already know were the holes are. EASY. Hope that helps

I used to use a plug in soldering iron to make the holes from underneath. Worked pretty good.

I used a scratch awe up from the bottom then while it's still there use a soldering iron from the top to burn/melt a perfect hole. Makes finding the holes easier when placing the seat and the carpet won't frazzle in the future.

Yep soldering iron is the way to go for all the holes seatbelts and all

I use a tool I made years ago to burn holes in snowmobile tracks for adding studs. Now that was a real stinky job!
