Just putting the final touches to my rotisserie R/T convertible resto, fitting the rocker panels. The bracket fixing holes have "disappeared". Can anyone help me with a template or measurements & centres for the holes? Have scoured the internet with no luck. Guess I could put the brackets anywhere but am **** on getting everything as perfect as possible. Appreciate any help, Regards, Ron J (New Zealand)

I'll try to get info tomorrow...

Are you putting the stainless steel covers on the rocker's. Or should I say trim. Just about put those on my runner. Then decided not to do it. Get us some pic's when their on.

I believe they were standard equipment on R/T's... I know mine is coded for them...

Think you are right. This runner had the plastic bracket on the passenger side. Just one was left on the car. I always thought that they kept dirt and trash that you could not get out. In result was rotted rocker's. Every time I have pulled them off a car their was rust back their. Thought to my self maybe they did not paint that area like the roof vinyl just primed it and put them on. Just my two cent's. But they do make a car look good.

My car had zero rust in that area... But it's been in California it's whole life so thats not much of a surprise... It had plenty of issues but rust wasn't really one of them...

I do think they look good and with a good coat of paint behind them I doubt there would be an issue... These cars don't get treated quite the same today as they did fifty years ago...

They are standard on the 68 R/T.

the cars were fully painted before installation of the rocker trim.

Okay hope this helps... All front to back measuring was done from the rocker/fender gap so the one going forward on the fender was taken upside down...

I measured in three vertical locations from the door jamb down to the holes and they were all the same..
