When I tore the car apart there were 2 tabs-plates under the inter sill scuff plate on the drivers side. The passenger side were missing. I can't find them in the parts book. The screw holes in the body look like original factory holes, so I believe these are factory original. Any seen these before? I need two.

My 65 Coronet has them. Make some. A rectangular piece of 1/8" stock (aluminum or steel) will do the job.

I wanted original ones, But never came up with them. So I fabricated reproductions. Was time consuming. I machined a male and female die and squished some metal on my hydraulic press.
I think they came out ok. Just need them galvanized. I may just use cold galvanized paint.

I have a couple extra of these carpet hold downs if anyone is still looking for them

There are 4 each. Two by each door. You will see the factory screw holes under the carpet. Look at my photo. It shows the two by the drivers door. My passenger side was missing.
