I need the for nylon-looking things that move the wipers on a '73 Ply. Satellite. Where can I get them? Are they called Wiper Bearings, or what? THANKS! Wait. Maybe they are called Wiper BUSHINGS.

Like any other shitty dorman part, they may or may not last more than a week. Generic fit. Used them on a customer's G6 last week, seemed to fit fine. It's coming back Monday morning.

Dorman really went to hell when they switched to overseas manufacturing, didn't they? Used to be quality products years ago.

Looks like Mopar 3799089 which can be found on eBay.

I'd rather have a quality product!

Wow! Yeah...don't want those!

Ive got a few of the Dormans in service now and I must say was not impressed. Had to do some mods to get workable results. I would be glad to try the Mega Parts ones, but how do we know they are not the same as the Dormans, anybody had both to check out.

Yes, that would be great!

Call Jamie at Mega. He will be able to tell you if the ones he is selling are made by Dorman, or somebody else.

The versions Jamie at Megaparts has is my old inventory.
They are dorman parts but from when still USA made.

I'll guarantee he is still working on the bag of 10,000 bushings I bought back maybe 15 years ago ( they were cheaper in bulk )

Definitely ! And Standard products are not too far behind. I have three labor claims filed right now for Standard parts that went bad in less than three months.

I have replaced those plastic bushings on my Charger and regardless of the name on the package it is still plastic. Last year I did mine and also had a new windshield installed. When I put the bushings in I used generous amounts of red grease on all the bushings and gently pressed the bushings together using a padded vise and everything went together nicely.

Now the wipers park properly under the hood and operate smoothly. Also replaced all the washer tubing as well. Bushings were sourced from the local parts store as well as on Amazon and they will work fine until they don’t and I will do it again when they break. I have replacements in my toolbox drawer.

I used the Dorman from local Advance.

Been in since 2012 and in a few rain showers (as happens in FL in the summer nearly every stinkin' day).
