He likely meant suspension since it is an Altered Wheelbase Car.
If you look at the distance of the front wheel to the front bumper it’s quite a bit closer than a standard body . Same for the rear wheels to the back of the door

I think what we have here is a case of miscommunication, what people consider the driveline, is the engine/transmission, which in this case are in there original location BUT, the front wheels have been moved 10" and the rear's 15" forward for better weight transfer for that periods tire and suspension technology.

Race cars aside, I think one of these in your rear view mirror is pretty bad.

Hemi FI stacks Engine, in the OP's 1st photos
doesn't look like it's set back
or certainly not moved forward
it's the AWB/altered wheelbase, both front & rear suspensions
& spindle points & rear axle/suspension have been moved forward
wheel wells have been cut to accommodate the Altered Wheel Base
yoy wouldn't want the engine to be moved forward,
they moved them rearward if anything...

there's many cars of the era that did that
Dick Landy as shown above was one of the early ones

we have a member @Mike Gaines
here that had the altered wheelbase
& the engine move back severely too
