Happy Hemi Day 4/26

I know It's not a 426, but, It lives on under many hoods.

There were actually four. I have personally seen three of them. I saw the white one at Don Garlits Museum (he also built a clone of it to drive to car shows). There was a gold one up here in Ontario that went to local shows. I saw the red one at Carlisle and talked to the owners and told them about the gold one that had been in Ontario. They said that they had bought it too. The red Hemi 4-door went on to sell at auction for $660,000. The sellers were hoping for one million!

Thank you for the explanation. Amazing that a 4 door could fetch that kind of money. I pass the Garlits Museum often, I have to find time to stop.
