Great looking car! Is it a Bob Mosher car?
It is. Dad and I perform "rescurations" on Mosher cars that the owners don't quite take care of properly. We also take them that last 20% by putting on the correct carbs, radiators, fans, batteries in the trunk/cables, heads, wheels and tires, straighten out hood scoops, paint the engines, proper pulleys, etc, etc.. Don't get me wrong Bob does great work actually some of the best but I think some of his customers are okay with an edelbrock instead of a carter or an aftermarket radiator and cooling fan setup. So we try to correct a few things and freshen up/fix what has not been taken care of over the years. Bob does great work and we love him and i think he appreciates us taking care of some of his babies. Honestly dont know how he can give them up when they are done! LOL

Two more black wheel cars. 63 and 65.

It may just be an optical illusion in the picture but is the front wheel pattern smaller than the rear of your car? OPTICAL CONCLUSION PERHAPS
I think that is just an internet capture photo, that he likes the look and stance.
I dont think anyone here owns that car, but i hope I'm wrong.

Not the best shot, this is when it was being backed out of the shop after an alignment. 15x7 front 15x8 rear currently 245/60/15 front and 255/60/15 rear but soon to be 275/60/15 drag radials on the back.

Busted the Roached Runner out of storage, new engine is in and putting it back together. Added the 15x8 steelies and 275/60 drag radials in the rear.

you do know that the black wheels were meant to be taken off wen you put your racing tires on
Someone needs to tell that to Dave Dudek. Oh wait nevermind, he runs in the 9's on 6" bias plys and steel wheels.

Dave Dudek is amazing, but i think he runs those wheels and tires cause he has to, in his class, not cause he wants to. My set of steelies for street use are eighty pounds heavier than my centerline/slicks combo, and that is with regular front tires, not racing lightweights.
I have nothing against steelies, black or body color, i like them with dog dishes as a matter of fact, but you cant deny they are heavy, and a car will work better with light wheels.

Agreed, Dave is great. I am dropping my Hemi to Dave to have him rebuild it while I work on everything else. I agree with your point, he runs what he has to for the F.A.S.T comps. I feel ya on the weight differences, I ran Weld wheels on my Grand National instead of the stock steel wheels it was an amazing reduction in weight. Go fast, run what ya want, stock, aftermarket, etc... just get out and enjoy whatever ya got.

Great ride! I bet your pooch can drive better than a good number of drivers I've encountered...
