What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Put some cat pee in.my Passat Diesel's DEF tank.
Checked out the offerings for a consignment auction tomorrow.
Got my hair cut.

That was my off-Friday in 30 words or less.

Pulled old dining room table out of shed! I put it in there a few years back because the puppy used the bottom as a chew toy why we were gone . It's the matching table to my side buffet and credenza all from 1920 have the org order forms !
Anyways it suffered some more damage then I remembered. I removed all bottom support areas and decided instead or replicating them I would upgrade them! They never had enough room for the chairs to slide under fully! (Wasn't designed for 2 in center area) so I made the bars straight across to give me more room as I need this table to seat 10 at least . I love the org chair s but being 100 years old I can't find more only have the org 6 and there hard to duplicate!
So I've been on the hunt for affordable chair's and hit damn I found $2000 worth of chair's for $150
Chairs are mint and look great will blend well into my set !

I'll be giving table a new coat of stain tomorrow and adding some trim to bottom to fancy it up !!

Been cleaning up around the shop and getting rid of stuff I know I'm never going to use. It's mostly old parts that can be reconditioned but seems no one wants it unless I give it away for free or little of nothing...so that's what I'm doing.

Wandered around a new self serv wrecking yard that opened up for business, yesterday.

Curious yellow71, I miss field and farm work... it’s hard work but very rewarding unless the Mother Nature beats you at the game.

After all the wood was moved and the debris raked up.. My son decided before planting some grass we should remove the rocks (ice bergs) that were sticking up a few inches... Hammer drilled some holes, used some masonry bits and broke them apart. 4 hours later we got them all out and was able to fill most of the holes back in...
