Nope. Plenty of other sites for that stuff.

Yeah we all hope this type of 'care' will never be needed; but who knows. As it ended up, my folks didn't need it; but my mother spent a month in a so called quality nursing home for about a month after surgery and snagged C-diff that damn near killed her. Fortunately she recovered thanks to a drug that cost $400 per pill. Those places are largely disgusting; though I remember when my uncle who had MS spent several years in a home - horrendous care with lousy staff giving a crap. The VA hospital he spent time in was worse; the smell of piss took your breath away. As he couldn't move, he relied on staff to move him - they rarely did. One time we visited him and he was hanging half off the bed with snot and drool all over his face and his teeth weren't brushed for weeks. My mother would get peeved and we spent the 1st hour there just cleaning him up. It was rough cuz he was near 3 hours away and my mom tried for eons to get him moved closer; but to no avail. She spent over $30,000 of her money to keep in some 'better' realm of care. Today that money would equate to over 150 grand.
I was pretty young at the time and remember seeing a WWII vet that had lost his limbs set in some kind of a suspended basket; holy Christ what a sight. Well my uncle wasn't much better since he couldn't move the limbs he had. The funeral home had to break some of his bones to straighten him out enough to lay him flat in his casket.

He was a wonderful-fearless man. As I grew up, every time I'd see him he got a little worse, then more, and more. One time when he stayed with us, I was showing him a pistol I had as he liked guns. At that time he still had some limited motor skills as he handled it cocking the single action Ruger and pulling the trigger. It's a memory burned in my head as even then, not knowing yet how friggin BAD he would still decline, I'd a liked to say "Hey Uncle Fritz, it's loaded". When he stayed with us I gave him showers having set him in a lawn chair. Another sad memory having to give a man, my uncle, a shower!
His eventual ending was not nice, another story; but when he was handling that gun wished I'd a had it loaded for him to make his own decision.......
