Oh my goodness, that’s great Dan!
Thanks for letting me know. These 62’s create such a ‘love in your heart!’ as far as I’m concerned!
Did the guy out in PA (was it?) buy it? He did call me back a couple times & was waiting for PICS from your dad. Glad someone will bring the car back to life. Scott in SC

Nope, it was a gentleman from Sioux City, Iowa. He seemed pretty happy to get it at that price. I’ll tell dad hello as well.

Nice, could be a tough sell, 4 door with green interior.

Ya’ know, 4-Door ‘Hardtops’ do have a certain appeal for some folks. No ‘post’ & windows ‘down’ make it feel more open & convertible-ish, so to speak! It is white, w/a red accent stripe, so that’s good.
Do a new interior color like ‘black’ or ‘red’ & it could be a pretty nice cruiser, even though it’s a 4-door!

I remember i had a ‘59 Fury 4-door hardtop w/a 318 during the 60’s when i lived on L.I. and the rockers rusted out. They were SO BAD, that the rear doors would actually ‘tilt out’ when opened & looked like they would just fall off! Each door had to be ‘lifted’ a bit to close properly, too....NOT fun!
Ahhh, the good ‘ole days!

As long as this thread is 1962 specific, I'll add that I make nice reproduction hood and trunk emblem inserts for any model of 1962 Plymouth B-body and I've also restored steering wheels for customers worldwide for over 28 years if those types of things might help you 1962 owners out some. I restored early B-body cars for over 45 years until 2 serious back surgeries put an end to that for me. Now I have all of my long hoarded early B-body parts for sale. I personally own an immaculate 1965 Plymouth Satellite 426 Cubic Inch Street Wedge 4 Speed 3.91 Sure Grip car. Take Care and happy motoring, Charlie.

I'm looking for Polara 500 script for passenger front door and fender for a 1962 Polara 500. Thanks for any help you may can provide.

Ernie----sorry I do not have any of those. You might try Clayton Kossuth down near St. Louis, MO. They have 1,200 cars and are nice people, the Dad has retired form the classic auto parts sales. His son is now running it and you can call him at 314-578-7866 Wednesday through Saturday. Good Luck, Charlie.
