To the moon.

...or at least somewhere I thought I could photograph the moon.

Nice pictures!! Thanks for sharing!!

Just a quick drive to see to make sure car was running right. Last time I drove it, it felt like it was bogging a bit. Cleaned out the fuel line and filter. Also had to drop the tank down again. I bought a new sending unit with 1/2 outlet recently and apparently it isn't sealing to the tank properly. I filled the tank a few days after putting it in and when I went into the garage in the morning, very strong gas smell. Fuel was leaking down the tank. I siphoned out about 6 gallons of fuel and it stopped leaking.

People starting to come out of the woodwork, love it!!

Looks like a great day!! Thanks for sharing!!

I've been working on our new house for a month now and today was to nice to pass up a run around town in Cora. My new neighbors haven't seen her since I moved in. When I started her and backed out they came out. My neighbor across the street has seen a car in the garage with a cover, so he came over with his son and grandson to check it out. Next thing I know, me and grandson are going for a cruise around town. After dropping him off, I took to the highway for a long self absorbing ride for miles going nowhere, just letting The Horses Run!!

Took Jane our granddaughter on her first ride in the Coronet. She saw the car in the garage a couple months ago and has been asking to go on a ride ever since. Cruised around for a bit and ended up at frozen yogurt.

Took the Imperial out for a drive yesterday afternoon. Put $25.00 worth of $3.99 94 octane in it (was $1.86 back in October!), and just went for a drive.

I need to finish the little bit of work I need to do on the Coronet and get that out!!! Bleed the brakes after replacing the front brake lines, and installing the valve cover gaskets. It's been in my shop since mid-October and hasn't been out since I had my appendectomy.

Been spending time on the '69 D300 in the meantime; doing brakes, installing the fuel tank, and chasing a wiring issue (no lights at all until yesterday). I pulled the bulkhead connectors, spritzed some contact cleaner, and then I had headlights. Still no dash lights, dome light or clearance lights...working that tonight!

I need to service my Ford tractor. Time for the oil and filter change, change the hydraulic fluid, plus change the fuel filter and service the oil-bath air filter. This is my every-other-year service for that.

To me, It's about getting out, not where I'm going. It just feels good!!

I go through phases where "any excuse" works.

Took the Challenger to my local Cars & Coffee yesterday.
(around 50 cars)

It drew the biggest crowd there and I met some great people. The little kids kept running over and pointing at the "real hotwheels car" :D

Here's a few pictures a photographer took:
