What lube to use on the front housing of a Ball & Trunnion driveshaft?

What lube is being used by those who have the early Dodge & Plymouths to lube the front housing and bearings on a ball & trunnion driveshafts?

The factory lube 2298247 is what is recommended in the FSM.

Today I am replacing the front rubber boot now on my driveshaft and checking out the rear u-joints and will replaced them if need be.

Any good multipurpose grease should do the job.

Sta-lube CV joint grease, any auto parts store should have a tube of it. Like a big tube of toothpaste.

the service manual says to be certain. to put equal parts in each side and not too much.
