Saw this at the gas station the other day. What kind of dough are we looking at here?

No idea; but he's ready for a road trip anywhere. I'll toss a guess - half mil?

More I think on it...the more I think my $$$ guess is low.

I’d guess you could buy a decent Hemi ‘Cuda for about the same amount.

600k at least? That’s a nice rig

In 1977 The Bandit and Cledus made a run for $80,000 to purchase a new rig. Given inflation and the mods to this truck, they would probably need to run back and forth the Tex-Arkana about 10 times to pay for this one.

My neighbor has one like that. Has a generator and air conditioning. Nice way to travel while pulling a trailer. (No idea what he paid for it.)

You can get this 2016 for 150K, only 500,000 miles on it

Are the Volvos any good? The cars seemed to need a lot of maintenance......
Volvo's are ok they ride nice but the value drops rapidly. Comparing to Ironbuilt truck in 5 years a Volvo with the same equipment and mileage will be worth $20000 less than a KW W900.

@Ironbuilt are this practical to use to tow a trailer ?
In some applications, yes. When a lot of stand by time is mandatory and heavy weight is not, yes they are. He runs coast to coast for a moving company, so he spends a lot of time on the road. Sometimes he has to wait a week while a house is being packed and inventoried. That's a lot of money saved on hotel rooms and food. He has everything in there that a high end RV has; queen sized bed, shower, stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, TV, etc.
For him, it works.

They also lack power. Great on the Interstate and awesome fuel economy, but they can't pull a hill for nothing. I like to have the power when I need it.
