Paint less Dent Repair Kit - NJ

Wondering if any NJ area comrades have a personal Paintless dent repair kit they would be willing to loan.
I have a roller that I can’t bring anywhere but would like to try to work on a problem I created. When welding my upper cowl back on, I applied too much heat and warped it, so it has a low spot. If I can avoid the stud welder/puller, I would prefer that.

If you warped it. You might have Drill it out and re weld. Pdr works well. But.

Harbor frieght sells those as singles if Im not mistakin.

I use PDR equipment all of the time, only when there's a finish that needs to be retained.
Hammer on dolly? It's likely you have some shrinking that needs to occur if you warped it from heat.
The dent fix shark is the piece of equipment that retired my old stud gun.
 
Heat it with a torch and then throw a soaking wet rag on it to shrink may work. Don't see a suction dent repair fixing a heat warp.

I don’t have access to the bottom side, as it’s all welded in place - so I can’t use hammer/dolly.

I’m trying not to ruin the coating on the underside of the cowl ( or worse set it on fire, lol). That’s why I thought of the PDR.

Where's the dent? If it is a dent in from the outside just fill it. If it is a convex dent (from the inside out) tap it in and fill it. As long as the metal isn't elastic and oil can's you should be fine.

It’s a low spot from about 3” to left of the wiper pivot hole to about 2” to the right of it. If I fill it, I’m going to bury part of the pivot hole and that entire feature around it. I either need to pull the area up or leave it as is.
 
Here’s a better pic. That’s about 3/16” gap at it’s lowest point.

Pull it with a stud gun and simply touch it up with epoxy and a small roller using a mirror(s) to see it. That's far more than was ever coated from the factory and nobody will ever see it anyway.

You could also fabricate a J hook and pull up through the wiper pivot.

Hopefully, you happened to fit the new cowl with your pivots in place. I've seen many go through the paint process only to find out their pivots are off center. This would be an opportune time to check if you haven't done so.

That would have been genius!! I welded it back over all the old spot weld locations, so hopefully it’s good. I guess I’ll see if I can mount the wipers now to confirm. Thanks for the tip.

If you are able to pull it and it's too proud or cans on you, reach out to me and I'll put you on another technique that's less problematic than an acetylene torch.
