70 Road Runner project

got a little bit more done ,one of the freeze plugs fell inside the block took way longer than it should have but magnet and the mechanical fingers got it then the oil pump shaft bushing was a pain tried getting under the collar but it busted. so I drilled it out to a thin thickness and split it, so it would drive out.New one in.

ok I need a little help just want to put the oil pan on once, but I have 3 different ones a 402 stamped has baffles lowest profile orange, a 187 stamped yellow one and one with no stamping that came of a 413 has been deepened and has the sump pickup for it. Engine is a 440 and is going into my 70 rr and wondering which one would fit the best.

pan prepared no orange engine in a red car not for me ,also got my heads cleaned up and gas checked the valves, 906 heads

Hey, hey. What's wrong with orange in a red car? Lol. I have that combo. I have always liked Chrysler orange personally. However, it is your car, build it your way. That is what makes us and these cars unique is building them our ways.

putting new valve springs in and cam in,finally have a little time to work on car since moving

installed cam and heads ,crane rocker assembly I thought I was going to use won't work so painted it Chrysler red oh yeah like it,just wanted to get something more done

installed harmonic balancer and the new rockers, painted the intake and sanded the air cleaner . it's starting to look good, I'm going to paint 1 valve cover black and the other red so I can decide how I want it to be.

Man, I'm so happy and respectful that you're running a 6 pack!
Dialed in right, even with the factory dual plane intake, they have really good, competitive torque and horsepower numbers..
 
adjusted the valve train so now I have to find my intake bolts, after just moving arrghh what a mess! at least I didn't lose the engine
 
Your car is coming along nicely, I like your wheels. I ended up getting another 70roadrunner and I've still got that 69 satellite. I bought the 70 sight unseen. I just about bit off more than I can handle with it but I'll eventually get something figured out. It's mini tabbed and it came with a narrowed 8.8 Ford with a 4 link set up but it's only half done. So it's kinda hard following somebody else's thoughts when you have no idea what needs to be done. Anyhow I read where you're not really following the norms and doing your on thing, that's good so am I. Eventually

I have a damn mess on the tail end of my car. Major rust around the back glass that's gonna require a lot of work. My problem is I bought this car after someone else chopped it up and didn't brace it up. I have no idea how I'm going to square this thing up.it has new quarters and a new taillight panel and nothing is right
