Bought this new in 1979 and since I just cruise with my car, I no longer need to know how to go 9.90's with a daily driver. What are these going for? Excellent shape for 42 years old. It even explains the positive deck height of 69 383 engines. 877 pages, will not separate.

This is still a very good source of information. I just picked one up a while back. There is lots of valuable info in this book.

I used to own that one, wish I hadn't given it up when the newer ones came out. The old ones like yours have way more information in them that the newer ones left out. Like setting the air valve tension on a T.Q. Just twigged to your location. My wife's niece and her hubby live in Lutz.

I have a whole series of the "Bibles". The yellow one is a great place to start. Going forward in time it is very interesting to see some of the changes in recommendations and upgrades in technology. I just recently got one of 1979 versions to refresh my memory.
The OP's manual is very valuable. A very worthwhile addition.

Use to be referred to as the bible. Yep, Lots of info and part numbers that always comes in handy. I bought mine in 1979 also. Great reference book.
