Hey all, I'm looking for some clarification. As far as I understand, the 15" police rims for 1969 are actually just Hemi rims. What is the full size for these? I have the oppurtunity to get some 15" rims for my police clone, but from the pictures one is marked H and the rest have an M on them. It looks like Dodge Dakotas until like '91 use the H rim too, so if I pass on these it isn't a big deal.

The 1969 H wheel is used on hemi cars. A12 cars. Police and taxis.

They are a 15x6 wheel btw

There is/ was a 1970 and later version.....but it does not have anywhere near the value the 69 wheel does

Thanks, so 15x6. What's the difference between the '69 and the '70+? Is it strictly because they were used on the A12 cars?

a 15x6 was not used on performance models in 1970 like they were in 68 and 69

1970 You got either 14x5.5 or 15x7

as far as whats the difference , I have no idea

It’s been quite a few years since I serviced the ‘87-‘91 dakotas when they were new but I don’t believe any of them used a 7” wide wheel, 6” was stock if I recall correctly.
