Doing some shakedowns on the 65 Bell, it seems to be a bit temperamental about the fluid level in the 727. I Have a deep steel pan, with filter extension. I got the car out on the road and up to temp (180)eng temp, and 165 on the trans temp. When I returned and BACKED it in up slight incline, it pushes out a small amount of ATF out of the vent in the bellhousing. I then did a level check, and found it to read a hair below the add 1 pint level., I do have a looser Converter , but this exact combo was in my previous Roadrunner ...And never an issue ,and that was when the stick read Full. I will say, this car does have a bit of a rake on it, as it sits higher in the rear due to SS springs, therefore resulting in this siutation? Other fyi , I am running the same cooler as before, which is plenty big, and lots of airflow.
Since the pan is of higher capacity, I should accept this condition?
Welcome to all input.
Thanks

Try to get the car level then pull the dipstick. Remember, in neutral. Block the wheels for safety.

No way of knowing in the car if its the pump O-ring, gasket, seal, vent or converter. New parts can leak. I plug the front vent. Vent it at the rear of the case.
