I am curious about a female "portrait" hanging on the kitchen wall at about the one hour mark watching the Paul Newman movie "The Hustler". Anyone know who the artist is? Thank you.

What do you call a hooker with no legs?
A nightcrawler.

What do you call a man with no arms and no legs laying in a pile of leaves?
:D

one of my former dogs liked to back up to a stump if one was available and take a dump on it....... I had to remove a tree when building my shop and he placed one perfectly atop it........ I have a picture of it somewhere on photobucket, it's every bit as good as a lot of "art" I've seen........ I named it "Stump ****"

My Mother (RIP) was a great artist, she did quite a few styles,
she owned a gallery in Antioch Ca. (not an art mecca)
I'm no art critic or expert either...
I know what I like, I don't care what others think...
I liked her realism/watercolors, her oils were very good
my sisters got some of it/them...
She did some portraits, but most were just random things she liked,
or something we'd ask her to do, she'd spend hrs upon hrs in her paint room...

I wish I had more of them now
, she did some motorcycles for me
very detailed every nut & bolt was visible, old bikes
& a bunch of big cats,
Lions/Tigers/Leopards/Bobcats/Lynx/Panther/Puma-Mountain Lion & cubs

I have a couple still of seascape/beach setting & a big sailboat, in oils...
But many of her paintings were done in 'pointillism',
a series of dots that made up the subject matter...

After my mom died, when my stepdad sold their house & bought an RV,
he lives in today, she had 100's of paintings, he cleared out most of it...

I wish I knew where they were now
