It's all good. Auto or manual - drive them and enjoy them! My 73 Road Runner was built as an auto and my 70 Road Runner was built with a manual. I love them both and each has it's own benefits. No shame in owning either!!!

Got my headers back from the coater's today:)

Went from this,

Thanks Hawk....I wish it was a '70 Plymouth....but this is a great 2nd choice.

Thanks to @ZooKypr
for supplying yet another soft toy for the truck. I must be a frequent flyer on his sales. :D

Thanks @kiwigtx I got more!!!...just posted 4 sale another pair RR & Wile

Went to Advance for some spray detailer and couldn't resist getting a full set of 4 Sylvania halogen stock replacement headlights for the Charger they had on the shelf. I still had the 12 candlepower Westinghouse gems in there from the 80's since I don't do much night driving at all. WHO exactly are they keeping these in stock for? :realcrazy:

OK only 6 times. My car has been in a shop over night once since 1983. Around 2002 had my top replaced, couldn't stand it. Made a 25 minute trip to check on it after working 12hrs. Of course no problems.

Gave it a little AV100LL pump hose love... Gonna be another Gretta day. Tomorrow the Bee comes down off the lift..

First Summit order arrived yesterday so hopefully this weekend I can get the intake swapped and install the cables for the kick down to delete the rods and then put the carburetor back on and maybe drive the Charger to work next week.

Also plan to order the Aeromotive tank for efi. Aeromotive said about 3 weeks out. Then Summit soon for the efi. Of course that is just my basic plan which means anything can happen, but that’s part of the fun with these cars. LOL......

Replaced the Blaster 2 coil after taking a hard hit (my swaybar isn't happy) on an early drive on PCH.
Trying to get at tow a 5a.m. was fun...guess how I got home.:D

Test fitted the XV engine bay brace after trimming some of the lower fender bracket facing the firewall by approx .25" on both sides to clear the wheel well.

Nothings perfect (especially aftermarket parts) but this clears everything (specifically the MSD distributor and brake booster), close the radiator hose so I may get an angled thermostat housing at some point but it may be a non-issue.

Driver side firewall bracket will need some work to fit, passenger side fit pretty clean.

Did the stealth HEI swap inside the orange ecu box. Put on a summit Ecoil. While testing things out noticed the charging system was struggling to stay above 12.8v. A problem i had been trouble shooting for a while. Finally juat gabbed a new voltage regulator and boom.... 14.7 volts , 14.2 with fans on and headlight.... Much better !

Wiped the dust off. Getting her ready for local show tonight.

I have a feeling my daughter is gonna want to drive it up.

I enjoyed visiting with a good friend today, checked out a 69 RR he is buying, he let me drive it. I enjoyed it a whole bunch 4 spd beach seat hardtop car with a 383. Talk about fun...manual brakes and steering but it was cool I’ll admit it wrung it out pretty decent and it was a solid old girl ready to play... my first 4 b body I ever drove... it created a monster now !lol

Drove the snot out of it.. out to get groceries. Highway cruising it has a bit of a miss/popping stumble at ONLY 3200 RPM. 3100 smooth, 3300 up to 7000!! SMOOTH. Guess that big open chamber intake manifold just doesn't like 3200 at 60 MPH. Guy I bought it from had the vacuum advance plugged off, I hooked it back up this morning and it runs better IMHO than it did corked.
