Hi everyone

what filters can I expect to find and replace on a 1970 383 2 barrel but has a 4 barrel carb installed.

thanks

Maybe an aftermarket inline fuel filter? Could be glass, plastic or metal. There is obviously an oil filter. Transmission filter if an auto. There is a filter sock on the sending unit inside the gas tank. And last, the air filter.

Is there a canister filter on there ? I’m gonna go check tomorrow since I think it’s tome to change these
I’ve had the car almost two months and I’d like to just do them for a maintenance

I can’t remember if the 383 has an inline filter behind the alternator as a factory item. If the carb has been swapped, my guess is it’s a rubber line with a generic inline fuel filter.

Yeah I already found that one and replaced it. I’m looking to do the air and pcv. if there’s anything else to replace I’d like to do it now since I’m doing the small things

funny how it just never stops lolz
Now I need speakers, package tray, heater hoses and belts

and I’m sure there’s more somewhere

Sounds like you have it covered. The '70 383 was not complicated, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, filter sock in the tank, PCV. On non Cali cars no canister. My '70 Barracuda started as a 2bbl, after fighting the rotten Holley 2bbl for 2 winters, put on a used DP4B & new 3310-1 Holley. A perfect intake combo.
