64 Dodge - Paint code Needed: EE1 Dark Blue: Please help!!

PPG makes many different lines of paint. Each has a purpose. The most common ones for this sort of thing are Deltron, the high end line, and Omni, a more affordable line. Deltron generally costs about 2x of what Omni costs. If you've just put a couple hundred hours into your body you use Deltron for the most part. Deltron paints have a prefix of DCC for single coat and DBC for base coat with DCU or DC for the clears. Omni paints have prefixes of MTK for single coat, MBC for base coat and MC for clears. There are others too for low VOC etc. My default is to use Deltron but looks like I'm using Omni for the color because it's the only mix formula they have. I'll still use DCU2021 for the clear. Seems a bit confusing but I hope it helps.

My 1964 Dodge shop manual shows Ditzler #12657 and Chrysler # VAE2B9 for "E" Dark Blue Poly. Hope this helps.

Nate S...Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
Looking forward to the results of your project, so please share.

Here's what you're looking at. Deltron sealer and clear with Omni color, including a quart of single stage for under hood and trunk lid. Would be cheaper with Omni sealer and clear, maybe $500 less? Your call. I already had hardener for the omni single stage.

Please share photos with everyone.

Uncovered the never-seen-sun paint on the package tray. This compared to the new paint. 57 years old first.
