I was 7 years old when I went for a ride in my uncles 1969 Dodge Charger RT. Big Block 4 speed car and I have been Hooked ever since! I have been attending the Mopar Nationals at Columbus then Indy and back to Columbus since the 80's. I just posted my 1969 Dodge Charger in the photo Garage. I also have a 1974 Dart Sport that my Grandmother Bought Brand new. Granny had the slant six, but I put in a 340 in it and now my son is putting a 408 stroker in it

I know the feeling. My dad bought a brand new 67 Charger with a 383 and his brother then bought a 1968 Charger with a 318 I believe. Hooked! Both were sold before I was old enough to drive. Not sure exactly what happened to uncle's 68 but I know around 72, dad traded the Charger in for a Dodge station wagon with a 318. Don't recall the model, but I remember my brother and I used to sit in the back seat that faced backwards. When the brother could drive, dad bought him a rusted out 74 Charger SE with a 400. We beat that thing until it died. Shortly after, bought me a 1972 Charger I still have. Since 72 has bad engine now, I bought me a 74 Charger SE I drive all summer.
