My 73 roadrunner was missing the horn, relay, and spring in the steering wheel. I got a horn, installed a new steering wheel (including spring), and found and connected the horn wiring. The relay is my problem. I can’t find one that fits in my fuse box. Has someone switched out the fuse box? What’s going on? Help please.

You have me a little confused. The horn relay I am thinking of looks like this:

Maybe I am misunderstanding your question.

Sorry, couldn't see the relay in the pic'
Should go here:

And your fuse block looks like it has the right sockets from your pic

Look at the spacing for the 3 prongs on the right side of the relay vs. the ones on the fuse box in my picture. They don’t line up. The spacing isn’t the same

Looks to me like you need to flip the relay 180 and install it in the right 4 slots in your pic.

Yup, flip it, goes on the right side.

It does look like it fits on the right side but the diagram shows it on the left side. What’s up? Does anyone have a picture of this relay in the fuse box? Does it go on the right?

Sometimes wiring diagrams show the fuse holder or various connectors as a front or rear view to make deciphering the color codes and locations easier. It is confusing at times but it makes sense the more you work on wiring, it goes in the right 4 slots in your pic.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I now think I have the right relay and was trying to put it in the wrong location.
