Getting ready to install my hood mounted turn signals on the 69 Charger. They look like they can be mounted either way. The lens is marked front which I find comical. You would think it would say up or down to indicate which way they should be mounted. FSM makes no reference. Any ideas?

I can take some tomorrow. I just figured someone may of had experience installing them.
I would imagine if there is any printing on the lens it should be up^^^^^^^^

I had the same issue on my 68 so I installed mine so that the longer end was on the bottom shown in the side picture.

I will know more tomorrow. I did not measure mine but is seemed even all the way around. That's why I questioned it.

Then in that case just install with the words front right reading.

I just put them with front on the top. Looking at the dirt line on my old ones that is the way they must of been.

Where's your hood blackout decals?

68's are supposed to have them, not sure If I've ever seen a pic of them on a 68? If so when the car was repainted by a PO they must have never replaced them.

What's a good source for them.

Pretty much all the big names carry them; Van's, Year One, Dale's Cuda Shop, etc, and they are cheap enough. However, wherever you order them from, make sure that they have them in stock before you place the order. Low inventory and long lead times are affecting this hobby too.

Thx, Ordered from Dales!
