Hello all..first time post..Just bought a 73 Roadrunner for my husband as a surprise Birthday Retirement gift..We did not give it to him yet..we tried to hide everything the best we can, but nosey body knew something was up the past few months..or he thought I was having an affair with his brother..LOL alot of sneaking around...My son's and I will be having a BBQ with family and friends and the kids will drive the car to the house on that day...so with that being said if you don't mind..Does anyone have a 1970‐1973 Roadrunner with a moonroof, if so can anyone send me a photo of their Interior of how it is finished off with the headlinner...I would like to get this fixed before he receives the car...sorry long post..Thank You!!!!

Welcome from Missouri!! Two great women out there!! My wife bought my car for me too, good luck!!

Here is a 74 duster I would imagine the interior install would be very close to this picture. I don't know for sure so maybe someone will chime in but for now it may help. Looks like the hole is wrapped with windlace.

No problem. However I'm not saying that is how it should be. I just can't imagine it would be a lot different.

Welcome fellow 73 RR fan. Tell us about the car. Inquiring minds want to know

It's a 73, one of only 414 factory Sunroof, upgraded to a 360 V‐8 with 727 Torque Flite auto transmission( this was for me so I can drive it..LOL), bucket seats with roadrunner picture stitched into the head backing.(looks really cool), am/fm upgraded to CD player, has aluminum radiator with twin electric fans, side pipes. Looks good for what I could afford.. bought it sight unseen, we hired an inspection company to go out and give a full detailed review of the car, then had it transported from Texas to New York...it's at the shop now getting a few things looked at, but thankfully no major issues we weren't aware of..the only thing was the owner knew we wanted the car so he wouldn't budge on the price...Was it a risk buying it this way..absolutely..But in NY can't touch anything decent for under 40k. Not a show car we want it for cruising..My husband had a 72 RR when we started dating back in 78. My kids(21&28) didn't mind me spending their inheritance..;‐)...

Very nice. Wish mine was a sunroof car. The nice thing about 73t74 RRs is they are still reasonable to buy. But I think they will climb in value.
