Ammo has arrived!

Really liked my CZ75 when I got it but hated the trigger. Rebuilt it with a Pro kit from Cajun Gun Works. Now it’s one of my favorites.

I have a shield but I'm partial to my CZ75. Fits better seems to be more accurate

I prefer 45ACP, but they can be cumbersome for EDC.
Not if you go with a Colt Defender. Compact and very concealable. A bit pricey, but I love mine.
Overall length 6.75 inches, a height of 5.125 inches and a width of 1.25 inches.

Like Ironbuilt I much prefer the .45ACP over any 9mm. I had to carry and keep current on the M-9 in the USAF and hated it. The Barretta was that weapon and most were unhappy because it didn't conceal all that well as most aircrews had to holster them that way. Taurus is an off shoot of the Barretta and got its rep initially from being built in Brazil. As the 9mm is so commonly used and carried, I found over time that the 9mm many a time was unable to stop an opposing target and required more rounds to be effective. The stopping power of the .45ACP would knock that target down with one, maybe 2 shots but would kick the *** of the target. I have in my safe, the Springfield XDM dbl stack and my Rock Island/Armscore 1911 and man they are a blast to shoot. I realize that in most cases, shot placement is where it matters. But for stopping power, .45ACP or for that matter, a .357 or 44 MAG...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

Nice haul. I always thought you needed a license to import ammunition / gun parts kits.

Not sure what the laws are, they were imported through a distributor in Texas.

Ordered shotgun shells from England a few months ago. Didn’t really think they’d show up, but they did! From what I understand, they don’t have an ammo shortage, that just seems to be a U.S. thing. The problem is getting them here, (I had no part of the shipping). Will try them out tomorrow and if all is good will place an order for next year. View attachment 1110662
like a solid gold/big *** nugget 'score' right there

Thats 50 cases (12,000 shells), I bought 50 before the shortage and picked up another 60-70 cases a few at a time here and there. It’s nice to finally have enough to get through the season, takes the pressure off.
If I may ask what competition do you shoot? I used to shoot informal skeet starting with a low gun and I waterfowl hunt but my arm will fall off if I shoot that much.

My son shoots sporting clays. These showed up just in time for the Northeast Regional this weekend in New Jersey.

When the village idiot was in office from 08-16, I stocked up. From the info I was gleaning from various publications, ammo was going to be an issue. When I had extra money, I would go by Wal Mart and grab the 100 round packs of 40jhp and 45jhp. No difference in pricing compared to fmj's. Did the similar with 308 and 12ga00 plus 22. Wish I had thought ahead and got 223 as when I had an AR done, ammo was just about na. I did score some at a store in Vegas when I was there for a MATS show plus some Magpul mags. The pistol stuff is currently twice as much as what I paid before plus here in the PRC, ammo sales are currently registered. Kind of dumb when you can hit 3 other states to buy it. As much as I would like to done some shooting, replacing spent ammo is cost prohibitive currently plus the hoops to jump through.

I use it but not often. I figured it was wise to get it before it became scarce which it did, was available then scarce again. I don't reload so I find people to donate my shells to. Might be pointless to some but a firearm with no ammo to use is not a good idea.

If things continue the way they are it could be a good investment.

For sure. I feel sorry for those who finally saw the light and decided to own. At my local store, the only ammo they have are obscure calibers like 280 rem. They have a smattering of pistols and long guns but no feed for them. There are some others I would like to have, don't need-just want, but good ffn luck purchasing with stock levels depleted due to political and other issues. Glad we are in a small town away from the problems.

I don’t often sell guns but I’ve sold a few this year because prices are so high. I put guns I don’t use, like, or want on gunbroker and they always sell for more than I paid for them.
I posted some ammo for sale on MeWe for what I paid for it and it sold in about 10 seconds.

Yep how well we here in Nevada know about that. Before the lock downs that stopped the shows here in Reno, we would always comment at the amount of CA plated vehicles were in the parking lot. By the time us Nevadans got to the ammo dealers and sellers, y'all pretty much cleaned it all out. Really frosted a lot of shorts including mine. I get your suffering but the problem really isn't ours because your State voted these Jack Wads into office, that have mucked it up for you as well as us with their Draconian Laws. I had heard that the Agri Station on the Interstates going into CA were going to ask all those entering, if they had any ammo and if so were going to impound it and report the driver to the authorities. But that was obviously never brought about. So when the Shows pick up again, do us a favor and remain there and let the rest of us have a chance at picking up what we need. Just sayin is all...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:
