426 Hemi problems.

This is the green canister that the vacuum lines are hooked to one goes to distributor, one goes to the manifold, ones goes to the carburetor. I'm wondering if this could possibly be a problem too.

Does your car happen to be from California originally? I believe that green gizmo may be an emissions device. Remove / bypass it. The vacuum hose from the distributor advance should be connected to the vacuum tap on the right front of the rear carburetor. I will see later today if I can find the green gizmo in the parts book, but I only have 1969 version.
