Tachometer

We recently bought the 72 Charger. I was surprised that a dash called "The Rallye Dash" does not have a tach. Can someone show some examples of typical aftermarket tachs that are working well for you?

Don't have any pics as my photo album got lost after getting divorced (bet I know why), but I had these:

I put it on top of the column in the center. I do see you have the key removal slide, so I am not sure of room. I did not have that on my '74 Charger.

Here's a 71 Rallye dash with tach. I don't know if the 72's are the same. The other gauges are double I see.

Rally dash describes the round pods for the gauges and speedometer. The other dash is a rectangle sweep speedo. Like a plain satellite or a 4 door.

No a rally stash don’t always have a tach, depends on the body line

68-70 b body rally dash doesn’t always have a tach either. Could have a clock only, or a blank in that place.

70-74 E body rally dash does always has a tach no matter the engine.

68-70 A body rally dash doesn’t always have a tach.

You could get the rally dash in three flavors; The basic came as you have it with the fuel and oil gauges together in the large hole. If you get the optional clock or tach, the fuel and oil gauges got moved over to the smaller holes and they were doubled up

I've been corrected; didn't know that. I might be remembering my '73 Challenger rally cluster and the GTO rally dash seemed to denote a factory tach as an inclusion...had this in my '67.
