Hello FBBO!

The driver's side quarter panel on my 64 Sport Fury has rust all along the wheel arch. I have been looking for a patch panel but I have not been having good luck. I have seen patch panels from Sherman that'll fit a 64 Dodge Polara and after talking with a few folks it appears that the Dodge and Plymouth arches are slightly different. Any suggestions on where to find a patch? Or do I need to think bigger and get a whole quarter panel?

Thank you!

Looks like you need a quarter panel and most likely the outer wheel house. Good luck!

The Sherman stuff is known to be pretty poor. That said, it's probably easier than beating it out of a sheet of flat metal yourself. Might find an AMD panel someone bought but didn't use of you're lucky.

I'll second the comment about poor regarding the Sherman panels. I bought a set for a 65 Belvedere and was not at all happy with the end result, even after a ton of hand work trying to make them work. They were worth no where near what they charged for them.

Sherman stuff can be pretty rough but i used their 1/4 repair patches ( only ones to be found) and thought they were ok. Here is the thing, the panels they sell are for Plymouths and not really correct for a Dodge. The repair panels have a rounded edge on them like a Plymouth and not a flat edge like a Dodge. Other than that they are the same so if you can find them your in luck.

Try member (moparmarks) here on the site. He does have quite a bit of
excellent used mopar metal from the southwestern USA. He may have a cutoff
off, either 2dr or 4dr, but the Plymouth models seem to be very hard to come
by, versus the Dodge models. If he can't help.. about all that's available would
be either in Arizona or Ca. or maybe find something up the west coast to the
north. Good luck by all means!

See if you can locate an AMD full quarter. I installed one on a 64 Belvedere and it was flawless. Just like an NOS panel. However, AMD dropped them a year ago

Try Joe Suchy, Dalton, Georgia. I don't have his info right at hand, but you can find him online. '64 Plymouth guy.

Thank you for all responses. Sorry for the delay, work and family, you know. I tried Joe Suchy but had no luck. I was looking at the Sherman stuff and it may be my best option at the moment. I'll try moparmarks first

I've noticed that they dropped the quarter panel a while ago. What a bummer
