Any of you B body guys & gals gonna hit Cruisin OC in Ocean City, MD next weekend (May 19 -23)? I hear that there's a bunch of Chevy's & Ford's there that need a lesson in what's still the coolest set of frame rails on rubber.

Did the cops lighten up yet? Been years since we went for this event. Cops were riding bikes and ticketing people sitting still in grid lock for not wearing the old shoulder belts up on the headliner.

I did a couple drive-by's last fall for Endless Cruisin OC. There was a heavy police presence, I didn't see anybody pulled over for the short time I was there but I get where the frustration comes from if they are just writing nuisance violations.
Which one of you guys can I call if bail is required??

Have to agree on heavy police presence, closing lanes creating traffic jams, Have to be at inlet by 8am to get a spot. Had been going many years, used to be fun, hope they can find a way to fix it . But I do miss arguing with the Ford guys

I was there for Friday only. As far as the heavy police presence in the last couple years, thank the non registered clowns that show up there just to wreak havoc on the highway and somehow think they are entitled to do it in the name of fun (IE burnouts and drag racing). Driving around on Friday was perfectly fine. As long as you don't do anything to attract attention to yourself, they won't bother you.

Imo OCPD was getting people for anything.

They Impounded my car on Thursday for "obstruction of vision" from a hood scoop. The car is all legal, street tires, MD street rod plates, mufflers, lights, turn signals, seat belts, etc. I was going the speed limit (30mph) and wasn't revving or doing anything, but they just nailed me to set an example.
