Thats why I have a mopar calender. I can look at it and save money at the same time.

..and people think I'm nuts when I just sit and stare at mine. That one should go for about 10x what I paid for mine in '90 !

I think I better get a calendar...Got told the other night nobody will want to deal with my stuff when I croak, so I guess I’m a hoarder with a good eye .... and a love for history..

I'm drawn to an article that recently appeared in Hemmings Muscle Machines that had a very interesting take on the winged-car hobby: They said that (in general) people who want, and can afford, a Superbird probably already have one. So the 'Birds that fetch the most at auctions are the ones where someone is looking to step up to a nicer example for their collection.
So if that is true/accurate, the consigner better hope that this 'Bird is nicer than one already in the hands of a collector if they want to get top-dollar for it.

The wild card in such speculation is always going to be world political/financial climates as well....
Exchange rates in other countries vs. US Dollar, in other words - because there's tons of American iron leaving
the country these days, going to collectors whose local currencies are stronger against the $USD.

I'd rather have the '68 Charger... but I already have a Copper car. Online auction, can't see it bringing the same bucks as live and note the car locations if you wanna buy. They're not at the auction house, they're still sitting at the sellers locations which I can see going wrong in many ways. It was enough of a cluster f live in Mississauga when a car would be sold only to realize they weren't holding the original ownership to transfer..

Theres alot of those types of auctions up here. I stay clear from those.

$144,244.50 for the Lime light V code, seems reasonable,,,,,

180 to 220 u.s. at a live auction guessing without knowing the details or more pics. online auctions are a little different . I would say less IMO. good luck, cool car.
