I have one bolt on the passenger side and one on driverside that are leaking coolant. I’ve tried the stuff in the white jar. Is there can I use the stuff in the tube or what is a better option.

Seal them. They screw into water jackets. Like @padam suggested, use high temp because of the close proximity to the exhaust ports.
I used the stuff in the white jar but it’s still leaks. I let it set up before putting water and heat back into the motor

Clean out the threads with a tap and brake clean. Sealer doesn’t stick to rust, antifreeze and old sealer.

Make sure the studs are fully seated and the threads are in good shape...The stud should bottom out in the head and make a seal that's pretty close to perfect...
Kinda like how a spark plug with a tapered seat seals in the compression...
The silicone or permatex should mainly be for insurance...
I recently had a problem with coolant leaking out of a exhaust stud...I had bad threads and a helicoil...I tried everything but exhaust paste to get that damn thing to seal...
It'd be fine for a few miles then develop a tiny leak...

I finally replaced the head...

Disregard the below question.
I just checked my 906 heads and it seems like most or all are wet.

Am I correct in thinking that it is only the front and rear holes that are wet?

I think there all wet! One on the driver was the 2nd from the front. The passenger is the 1st one from the front! I cleaned the threads the studs are tight going in! I’m gonna redo those two and if has a lil leak I’ll try a lil bar leaks.

All exhaust holes are wet on 906, 915, and 516 BB heads.

There was a huge argument that only the the ends were wet, turns out the guy had max wedge heads. Well those are totally different than any other BB head in many ways.

Loctite 510. High Temp flange sealant. Works on sealing threads as well.

"If you own a Harley Davidson that doesn't leak, you are well versed in the Loctite catalog."

Many good suggestions here. Use high temp sealant on cleaned stud & hole. Let it setup.
