FOR SALE: Original 1968 Factory Valve Covers for a 383 or 440 engine. They are not dented, bent up, or rusted badly, but had a braze repair around the filler cap neck previously. $85 plus shipping from Pa 17086. PM if interested.

What happened to it that it had to be brazed, it had to have some kind of damage to it??? GLWS

Not repaired by me but i have had others that the neck comes loose and turns usually from improper removal of a stuck breather cap so i would have to assume it was turning so is why they did that

I've seen those tubes leak oil. Someone fixed the leak long ago.
