1973 Charger having carb issues. The seller said had trouble with carb and needed adjustment. I could tell when I started car choke was not opening all the way. Found bad choke pull off and replaced. Car will start now but will not idle. As soon as you take your foot off accelerator it will die. I will check vacuum line tomorrow but I'm not sure if all carb outlets are hooked up properly. Where can i find info on that also.
Though it might need to be rebuilt and have no idea what carb it is without tag. I want to fix this carb and make it a driver. Maybe next year I will do some upgrading, but for now keep it factory if I can.
Thank You

Do you have the curb idle set properly? You can make it idle faster by turning a screw.

I am not familiar with carbs. It's been a long time probably since high school. Only way I keep it running now it to lock butterfly partially open that way I can get out and make adjustments. I did turn idle/air mixture screws out 1 1/2 turns. I will finish my chores and then double check any vacuum leaks.
Where is the curb idle screw located.
Thank You

I concur that this is a 1-1/4" Carter BBD carb (vs a 1-1/2" Carter BBD on larger engines). Your first pix shows the ported vacuum advance connection with the small rubber hose connected, which should run to the distributor vacuum advance connection. This pix also shows a 1/4" or 5/16" bolt and a hose connected to a nipple. Typically, this is where the PCV hose is connected.
The first pix also shows the choke coil heater and its control switch mounted on tge manifold. Its purpose is to help heat the choke coil faster to open the choke faster and reduce emissions.
The idle adjustment screws are shown in the last pix. The screw closest to the carb body is the COLD idle adjustment; the one outboard of closest to the bottom of the frame is the hot idle adjustment.
IF the PCV line is plugged, the hot idle will be very slow as the PCV acts as an air bleed.
As 1973 was the first year for EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR), with the EGR valve shown in uour last pix, under the spring. IF this valve is stuck open, a poor, very lumpy idle will result, this valve is controlled by the carb usually thru a dedicated connection via a thermal vacuum valve that inhibits valve opening until engine reaches operating temps. Just a few more things to check.

Toolmanmike might be on to something. In picture 2. One of the two screws in the bottom left corner will alter your curb idle adjustment. I’d start here with trying to tune in your Carter BBD. This setting should directly impact the amount of gas pedal pressure and ideally get you to a point where the engine idles with zero gas pedal needed.

I will try to adjust this to see if I can get the car to idle. Evidently there a incorrect hooked up hoses on the carb when I received the car. The choke pull off was bad and when I replaced it the car will not idle, so maybe your suggestion will help. Thank You

IMO....Consider getting the FSM (Factory Service Manual) for your vehicle. The publication will show the emissions control devices and their connection diagrams, and the various engine settings.....timing, idle mixture and idle RPM, both hot and cold settings and any internal and external carb adjustments.
The FSM is available on line as a download-able PDF file. Sorry....I cannot recall the web site address....perhaps someone will know the address.
