New guy here Starting a Nascar/Superbird build. Plan to use my nascar chassis under a Satillite body to build my clone. Still trying to find all the parts to get started.

Welcome from Missouri!!

Welcome from Alabama. Best of luck with your Superbird build.

Welcome from Illinois! Have you considered using AMD metal versus cutting up a satellite ? It maybe a easier to deal with way and let someone play with the other car. You’re just after the skins it maybe a more forgiving way to assemble the body over the car unless your after the VIN tag, so you can put it on the street. Just food for thought.

Making it a street car. The shell I'm using has a good roof and that's about it. Floors and frame are gone. Perfect for what I'm doing with it.

Welcome from Michigan, the Motor City! 440'

Note sure I'd call it a clone since it will have an updated chassis, but super cool. Are you going to lengthen the Nascar frame or shorten the Bird wheelbase?
I'm going to lengthen chassis.

like the Pette hamilton #40 car or old McClusky car
