where you'd have made that mistake (among others)....
Yes, I will
always defend those that warrant it, here or elsewhere - especially when it's quite apparent
someone is cherry picking/sniping from a position of "authority", which you've a history of doing.
I'll go ahead and state the obvious again though, in hopes that it sink in a bit better this time:
KD is a proven long-time positive contributor to FBBO. A quick search will prove as much.
Yes, his persona on here is one of being sometimes obnoxious (including the "Grammar Nazi" schtick) -
but we all know that it's part of the fun (and I'm sure those who truly find it too much to tolerate just
"stop reading" without so much as a mutter).
Forums like FBBO simply cannot exist without positive contributors (like KD) who consistently provide
compelling content, nor can they live without financial support - which KD also participates in.
Now, what
kills public forums on the net?
- Lack of funding - which usually follows lack of participation - which usually follows lack of compelling content.
- Absentee owners, who all but abandon ship in pursuit of the next fortune or whatever
- Overbearing moderators, borne out of a lack of ability to remain impartial, oftentimes running off the
"good ones" with their personal vendettas
But hey, I'm just spreading your words of wisdom here, no biggie.
