Nice gift! Could I suggest you have your local priest bless the statue and your place.

We had that done shortly after moving in to our current home. The statue is in our dining room.

A few years later a tornado hit the property. Carried away 138 feet of pole barn, picked it straight up and carried it OVER the house and deposited it 100 yards away on the other end of the lot. The pole barn was full of my cars. One broken antenna, some scratched paint and a couple small dents. Lifted the roof of the barn up and then dropped it back down. All my sheet metal was stored in the hay loft of the barn. Nothing was bent up. The barn was a loss too. Took down some pretty good sized trees. One shingle damaged on the house. It unscrewed the lid on top of the corn crib and deposited that about a half mile down the road. A neighbor found it in his yard.

We do believe someone was watching out for us.
