1967 Hemi GTX restoration

Looks good, lots of nice work done already. Glad you have those nice quarter panels for it.

I’d like to offer some suggestions.

The headliner and visors are to be black on a 67 with white interior. The only things white are seats and trim, door panels and arm rests. Everything else is black.

The trunk panel red paint should match the dark red paint on the taillight bezel. It is to better blend in with the taillight lenses

The radio you have is a dealership replacement, not a factory one. It should say Plymouth transaudio on the dial. And the dial numbers should be the same font as the speedo numbers.
Ah- makes sense. But I got a new set of white visors and white headliner with a parts haul- so I might use them. Yeah- the red on the finish panel is 3M tape- so changing it to a darker shade is no sweat

Black carpet and new truck mat.

Great going on a deserving project. I'm working on a Hemi 4-speed project currently.

You have collected a lot of parts, a good thing, but you aren't through yet. :)

Even though I have some wheel covers - going to go with this look. NOS Cragar Sparklers and redlines

Finally picked up a booster - it arrived last week and I sent it off to Toronto to get rebuilt

Glen Ray rad - too scared to remove it from the box. Don’t want to ding it

I am now following the build, the word HEMI of course got my attention. Also 67 GTX as my friend has one almost identical to yours but with a black vinyl top and 4 speed......

Great work done so far on the car, well done! That Satty "parts" car looked way too nice to cut up to by the way

Why cut up a solid big block 2 door??? He should have waited and got a 318 4 door...

That car is nice- and the reason I searched out those wheel covers

I really love that color on those cars and a hemi to boot is sweet. Looks like it’s going well but I will say your parts car looked way to good to part! I would have sold it and bought a four door, being you bought that nice looking sheet metal ... imo , looks good! Keep us posted! Or sell us the parts car, lol!

Yeah - parts car was pretty nice but came as a package deal and no title for the parts car...so it had to get sacrificed!

Nice, how is this project coming along? Where did you get the info to decode your fender tag?
