Does anyone sell a rebuild kit for a floor shift steering column on a 74 charger?

Not exactly sure, when you turn it, it's kinda rough and sounds loud, assuming there are worn out bearings in there somewhere...

^^^^ what Oz said. Did that with mine. My local dealer got them for me.

Well, I was just using EBay as an example. but yes it went on my car fine. 74 (at least that portion of steering) should be the same. Go to Rock auto .... WAYYYY cheaper.

The upper bearing is available through Chrysler 2265656. Mopar Parts America has it for $12.08.

Lower bearing superseded to this # 4147318
Also avail through Chrysler for 10.82 and that is NOT the same as my 73.

I had a rough sounding steering wheel. It turned out to be one of the shitty aftermarket turn signal switches. They scratch along the horn contact because it's metal on metal. Fills the cavity with fine metal. The good original ones have a wheel that rode along the contact.
