Super specific I know. Looking for some heads flowing better than stock and able to give me some compression. Worth asking here before making further adaptations to what I have.
Thanks

I guess you're looking for Big Block heads? You didn't state that but all the LA series heads have smaller chambers so.....
Last Summer I checked chamber size on 3 different casting numbers. 452, 346 and 906. They all were between 88 and 90 ccs.
A stock 516 or 915 should be under 84ccs. They can be ported to flow better than stock.

Look for a set of ported 516 closed chamber heads with bigger valves installed. They are great heads once work is done to them. They'll give you compression, flow decent, and are cheap. I bought a freshly machined and ported pair with new 915 size larger valves and hardened valve seats for $700. They are an 84cc head but some (decked?) sets are around 82cc's.

I have a set of 452 off my race car. Free if you want to come to WNY and get them.

Aerohead racing was a division of Indy Cylinder Heads. They did reman cast iron heads for about $600 a pair.
Not sure if the New Owners of Indy are still doing them but you can check.
