Among the deceased at my former employer were 2 guys I worked closely with for about 27 years. TIM ROMO was an overhead line/power supervisor and a good guy. Another was Lars. To know this happened makes my heart ache. Tim and I worked many critical incidents together. You could not ask for a more competent or gutsy pro to work with. We got the job done. Please pray for the families.

I knew Tim Romo as Cowboy Tim as he often wore a Cowboy hat. Him and Lars were my go to coworkers whenever the heat was on. They helped provide and restore vital service under the most difficult circumstances. Dedicated to Public Service and good at what they did.

My condolences to you. It's horrible to read about anything like this - when it's your friends or family involved the pain must be unimaginable. God rest their souls.

I saw this on the local news yesterday. My condolences go out to all involved. May they RIP.

May their souls rest in piece and prayers to the friends and families .

My condolences to you and there families, may they rest in peace. I can never understand why someone would kill innocent people. This solves nothing and brings pain to many. 440'

^^ He said everything I wanted to say. My condolences.

That sucks.

I remember a time before disgruntled employee mass shootings.

Many born since will not.

I don't get the motivation. It's usually at a place that's considered a "good job".

Either deal with your situation, or find another job.

Sorry sir, for you....and for the loved ones. This stuff is so terrible and just too close to the human condition. Some people are just insane.

So sad to hear Dennis. Like YY1 stated, we as the older generations remember when this type of thing rarely if ever happened. Now it is so common and the younger generations don't even blink an eye. Sad what this county is turning into. I'll be thinking of you and their families....

X2,
We have no regard for life anymore.

So sorry to hear Dennis. I knew you were retired but John still worked there. Man, really hits home when it’s former co workers. Hopefully the company steps up and takes care of those families.

Sorry, can’t resist this. Doggone memories. One of my last days on the job. Tim and I sometimes talked cars. Right here near building K. Drove in that day, a treat since i usually took the train. Also, VTA next to a REAL Train.

You should send this to the Mercury News. It's well written and Tim's family would appreciate these words. We will pray for the families tonight and some comfort for you, Dennis.
