Actually the opposite as I've consulted many doctors.
As far as ignorant all I can say is the doctors at Sloan Memorial advised my wife to get vaccinated and offered it to her this past February.
Because I still work around people who take no precautions I was advised to get the vaccine as well
So what qualifies you to make the claims you do?
Validate away.
 
Most of your states have Canada beat. The province south of me, full of wannabe
Texans, has the worst infection rate on the North American continent. Surpassing by far even Texas.
We did the basics here; mask, distance, shut down when there’s infections, open when there isn’t. But we closed our border, solid. So on the one hand we have very, very few cases but we can’t leave our territory.
 
We are 70 miles from the border. Miss being able to head to Montreal on a weekend...
 
The vaccine should be a choice and not a requirement. When I was in the Navy they used us as a pin cushion for every shot known to man so ever since I got out I have been reluctant to get any shots I don't even do a flu shot but did the vaccine only because my wife begged me to, I was sick as a dog for three days after the second shot, it was worse than any flue I could of ever had. I figure if my body had to fight something that hard there was something wrong, yea I know all the bs about being sick is just your immune system working but imho that is just bs.

120% likely denotes shots given to people who don't live here full time and migrant farm workers...New York City people who fled the city, neighboring state residents trapped here, visitors from other states quarantining... etc...
 
With the response here, I can only guess that many never got the polio and the TB shot either.

The OP, it seems, quoted a Media outlet that has a negative view on people that don't get vaccinated. I share an alternative point of view and the sheep come out of the woodwork with the need to validate what they did. I have no insecurities about my life and have no need to search for reasons to be a "Hero" by getting a shot. You can use your Red X's like a middle finger all you like. The truth cannot be blocked and you can believe whatever gives you purpose. You stand behind the shots like an order from your keeper and I am curious about how much research you did before you hopped in that line. There are likely people that swear that Meth and Heroin will improve your life but I don't see a long waiting line to shoot that up either. Allow me to share my first hand experiences with the public and give "Flipping me the X" a rest to stifle some one else's view. Prisoners used to be experimented on also, so you have company. If you can follow someone that keeps changing his story you should listen to me because my story doesn't change because I have convictions and not an agenda unless you call truthful education an agenda. Say what you want but I question the Lack of Authority as you obviously do not.

Frankly, I’ve heard more than enough on this topic and it’s beyond getting old. In a few weeks the media will move to another “crisis” so everyone will have something new to worry about.

Me, I could 2 $hit$ what anyone has to say about Covid, including the “officials”.

I got the shots when I was a child and in the Military. I consider myself lucky and don't want to gamble on a miracle cure that isn't.
 
Not many people in the US have had or will get a TB vaccine because it isnt used much in the US. Its efficacy is anywhere from 0% to 80%.
One cousin had it and took meds for years. Her older brother had it and lost half a lung and was also on tons of meds. Their father died from it.
We used to go visit him at the MO State Chest Hospital (then sanitarioum).
I tested positive for TB for years after that. Never developed it.
Another reason it isnt used much in the US is because TB has mutated over the years thanks to another modern marvel-AIDS.

at first, we are told that a vaccine is most likely "years away"

and then four companies come out with 4 different vaccines in 6 months, and all 4 are safe and effective?

sorry, I aint buying it

and if by chance 1 of the 4 does happen to be safe and effective, how do I know which one?

I never said people should or shouldn't get the shot, in this country we have a choice. Do I trust the government, that's another story.

Tx captured 129,000 illegals crossing over in ONE week just last week.. Funny how that does not make the Nat. evening news. Texas has done the mask, the vac, the shutdown (sorta), the whole deal, BUT Biden opens up the border even more and says come on in, then says actually you SHOULD go thru proper channels back home! ha
By the way, my dad did the USMC gig from 1935 to 1955, 2 wars....he would NOT go to a military hospital after he got out. What does that tell ya???/
 
Apparently my province had huge numbers, to go with the empty hospitals. I personally don’t know one single person who had it, let alone didn’t obviously fully recover from it? Hmmmmm
