The State that is handling the Covid 19 Vaccination the best:

I believe your wife is in a risk category. She is likely far better off to get it. I posted the info from my local government web page. The info to me reads like those who are at risk, are possibly at serious risk. The majority of people are not at a major risk. Those numbers are not made up. I believe what I see. Yes, some folks are going to and have died as a result of contracting Covid. But that is as far as I go with it. 2100 people have died with it here in Alberta. But there has not been a 2100 count increase over the year. The last few years have a steady average. Therefore many of those were likely to die anyway. It’s only what the numbers say. It’s not my opinion. It’s fact. My opinion is that we are over reacting. I’m allowed to feel that way, regardless of anybody else’s thoughts. I accept that you don’t agree with it too. That is fine. People can call me what they want. I won’t let it bring my heart rate up. Life’s too short for that.
You happen to live in a wide open very less populated area, hence less exposure, less outbreaks. Were you get your facts from are local as you stated and that simply is not the case with so many areas of this country.
NYC was the epicenter of the virus due to it being the crossroads of this country, specially Kennedy airport. We know many cases came in from Europe alone. If you just took some time to at least read how local hospitals in my city were at the breaking point, how refrigerated trucks were called into service, my God I even talked to cemetery workers when visiting my mother in laws grave and was told they couldn't keep up with burials and you think its overreacting.
The hospital were my boss was, talking with a nurse she told him they ran out of body bags at one point.
Now multiply that over more populated areas of the country
Ive heard ever excuse, every flawed reason, every distortion possible. From someone was to old or was sick or had cancer and thats why they didn't make it. Ive seen younger healthy people die and a friends 95 year old father contract it and live. I listened to the lady down the street whose son we all new grew up here get so sick he was on a vent for weeks.
My own cardiologist, a distance runner who do 15 miles as easy as walking around the block got the virus from working in the hospital and told me just recently he can't make a mile, the guy looks like hell..... It affects some with little symptoms and others it devastate's their bodies, lungs, their minds.
I honestly don't get what people can't understand but I know were they get it from and all I can think of at this hour is the word "marks" You can figure out what that means, im very sure.
Thank you for your civil reply

Just an observation on this thread. It seems that the strongest opinions here line up directly with their states political leaning. Vermont is smart because bah, bah ,bah, and Miss. is dumb because bah, bah, bah. The strongest anti - vac opinions seem to come from right leaning states. This whole Covid-19 experience has been politized from the very beginning by both sides. It's interesting to read everybody's honest opinion on this subject and than look at their location. Just an observation not opinion.
Just to clarify, I didn't say that VT was leading the nation in this, I simply posted the story that says so. I only got the shots because I want to see our son again. Absent that desire, I would have never gotten them. Our housekeeper is 31 and has three young boys. She isn't taking them and isn't having her kids take them. We are not firing her over it. She just has to wear a mask while here. My wife has a compromised immune system. We absent ourselves from the immediate area while she cleans. I simply found it interesting ( according to that story), that a tiny rural state has to be the one who leads the nation in anything, let alone this decisive issue. Others here made this thread into a political catfight, when it was not supposed to be one.
Reading comprehension people....sigh.

BTW, I see people wearing masks while alone in their cars with all the windows up every day. People vary in their fear factor of this virus. Everyone is different.
It reminds me of the quote from Men in Black.

Whether anyone takes the shot or not matters not to me in the least. It should be a personal choice dependent on their own fears, obligations etc. I did find it interesting that you say you didn’t say VT lead the nation in vacs and then say that VT did.

LOL! I said that the STORY said so. THEN I said that it was interesting that, ACCORDING to that story Vermont had to be the ones leading the nation...etc...

nice to see and read an actual debate with different views and situations, without too much bickering, there may be hope for some of you after all, :poke:. Have a great memorial weekend fella's. :usflag:

Andrew is the one responsible for all of those nursing home deaths. Even your own Party admits that.
No fan of Andy but think about the fact of what we know Donny boy knew as far back as January 2020
You heard him with your own two ears in that interview
Hey maybe it was a Donny impersonated, that has to be it

I for one am a fairly good looking guy and find that a mask is not warranted. I also have not scheduled any robberies so no masks for me!

I'm finding that some people are better off wearing masks because they are a muzzle for people you wouldn't want to talk to anyway.
