Bought some back when they had a closeout sale, directly from the outlet in Detroit, Clay Ave. and I-75.
$20. each....
The 1988 version is the rare one, not the '87.
88 version has an extra car!

Sadly, only old duffers are the ones who still play with trains. Young kids have zero desire for them. All of those expensive antique Lionel trains will become worthless very soon.

Yes, the same can be said about our cars, but I think that they have a little longer shelf life than toy trains.
