I hope your weather is better than ours this Memorial Day.

The old saying is "it ain't the heat its the humidity"
Wait for one of those hot August days where its 75 at 6am with 90% humidity then the temp goes up from there.
But you can sit under a tree with a beer and ill never complain because I hate winter

We absolutely need the rain but....Not much chance of that this time of year.
What I find interesting is that the California climate that I have been in since 1968 is that it is cold and wet in the Winter, warm and dry in the Summer. To me, this is normal. I thought that everywhere was like this.
Sometime in the mid 90s, I heard of how so many places outside of California had rain all year round. They also had humidity bad enough to be a real concern. I love the green grass and full looking trees that I see here in the Winter, Spring and early Summer. When it all dries out and turns light brown, it looks terrible to me. I'm looking forward to seeing green grass in the Summer when we visit Tennessee next month. I still am curious to feel what high humidity is like. That could be a very important factor in whether or not we relocate there.
If you're curious about heat and humidity go to Chryslers@Carlisle.

91 here on Thursday (western Maryland).

45 yesterday, and rain.

43 right now, cloudy and damp but at least not currently raining.

Supposed to be 70 and sunny tomorrow. We shall see.

I have a formula........ if the temperature and humidity add up to more than 150, it's nasty uncomfortable

it doesn't have to be hot to sweat your *** off

and yes, Chryslers@Carlisle is usually unbearable

After hitting 92 earlier in the week, it's been in the mid 40's, windy & lots of rain here all weekend long & it's supposed to be the same on Monday. We desperately need the rain & we are having a good soaking.
Same here. Good long soak. But, getting warm again in a few days....glad for the rain, we have dirt cracking and leaving wide spider webs of deep cracks...need the rain

We looked into the Nashville area , very nice ! We wanted to buy a lot but 30 miles out there was nothing under 2 acres and what was was ****.
I want 15-20 acres....maybe more.

The SE is all about the hot & stickies in Summer. I'd be worried if it wasn't!
Oh wait, it's been in the 60's, humid and overcast the last few days..... ut oh. :)
That was one heck of a front that just came through, from Canada to the Gulf. Big rascal!

Kern get half of a 55 gal drum of water boiling in your garage on a 95* day. Shut doors and windows in the garage and work on your car for an hour or so. Welcome to heat and humidity.

^^^^^^^^ This. You can even use your shower. Close the door and do not vent the room.
Hot water steam it up and you are there. My wife is a So Cal girl. We went to the east coast South Carolina beach town.
The dew didn't burn off till noon. We were going to lunch,She said "I can't go in looking like a drowned rat" I exclaimed "Honey, everybody looks soaking wet here."

I'd rather sweat in summer than freeze in winter....hence my choice of location in this life!
I've read that the San Diego region has the best average weather in the country and the
stats seem to bear that out, but I wouldn't last a month in Wackyfornia, I fear.

94 percent humidity in Central Florida right now. Sheesh. Soup out there.

Pretty darn nice here today..no complaints:)

its been BEAUTIFUL here in MI...cool crisp and sunny.

Pretty much a wash out for us in CT, with 3+ inches of rain in the gage, temps in the 40's. It's ok, living in New England we're used to the good along with the bad. It'll be sunny and 75 tomorrow! Plenty of inside projects to work on, or just kick back and watch the History Channel for a while.

79* right now, 22% humidity
nice lil' breeze
up here in 'Gods country'

you don't have to change shirts hourly either
like anywhere east, northeast or southeast of the Mississippi

Sun and blue skies are poking out here and there. Just in time for those who work.

Our rain finally stopped and while it's still cloudy, it is brightening up. The temperature rose to to 59.
