Hello,

New to the forum. Picked up this sweet 1969 Satillite a couple weeks ago. Excited to get her back on the road. Paint is rough but I like that look. Body and floors are solid. Hoping to find out this weekend if it runs!

Welcome from Alabama, nice Satellite project. Add some details, engine, transmission, etc.

Welcome from Missouri!!

Very cool. Welcome from north of Detroit

Good for you! I don't know what it is about cars like that, but they always get me excited to tear into them and see what's there. Have fun!

Please, please,please... restore that beauty, and please, KEEP IT AS A SATELLITE !! I'm biased, since I had a B7 Jamaica blue sport satellite as a daily driver back in the day, the best reliable car I've ever owner. Love it !! If you ever want to sell it, contact me.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. It’s a 318 car with a 318 currently in it, originally Frost Green. I plan to leave the exterior pretty much as is, just something to seal the patina. I plan to keep it a Satellite. But may put bucket seats and a 383 under the hood down the road.

welcome to FBBO

welcome, great looking project, and nothing wrong keeping it a Satellite.
