I am thinking of using some aftermarket or "alternate" seats in my 71 Charger and wonder what others are using. I intend on using a buddy seat with whatever seats I decide to use. Lets see what you got.

Not a charger but a challenger and just posting yo give guy and idea

it was fine with the auto but they sit a bit high. Now that it’s a manual I ended up removing the headrest so I could adjust the seat to compensate for the clutch pedal reach

Are those seats out of a newer Challenger or Charger? I have Neon ACR seats in my 73 Cuda and they looks similar but different.

2006-2007 charger Daytona but supposed to be same shape as challenger

they’re power and all way adjustable. Sit fine but with the clutch i might end up changing them since I found a set of bmw seats I want
Non power but they’re all black and I like these because of the red stitching that matches the carpet and the tomato red stra ope
Problems !!

Good looking car. I notice that your Tuff wheel looks well used, I have the same in my Challenger and I wrapped it with form fit cover that you lace on which comes out really well https://wheelskins.com/

72 Satellite came stripped of interior, pricing stock buckets then probably having to recover them caused me to look at different options.

Went with electric leather seats out of a 2006 Porsche, they even have memory position for 3 different drivers (have not bothered to figure that out yet). Feel nice and you sink into them. They are a bit narrow so might have problems if your butt is too wide, but being narrow opens up more room in the cabin. Besides owners having big butts it is also common to replace seats with lighter ones as these are heavier than they look, they feel real solid though.

Price on ebay has doubled since I got them, but they were a lot less than recovering or finding good stock buckets.

BMW 335 seats, I’d have to get a picture but they sit nicely and the electric is a simple wire in. There are two versions standard and sport. Also have Sebring convertible seats in a 72 Wagon

I have swivel buckets from a 72 Monte Carlo in my 72 Dodge Charger Rallye.

I am still looking. I want them to look similar to the stock seats if possible. I might go with factory seats (Mopar A/B/E body buckets) and have the foam changed/contoured to provide a more secure fit. The other option is to go with some aftermarket seats. I am a long way from needing seats but I like to plan ahead.
