Not much found in a search.... anybody running these in this combination? How do they look, handle, wear, etc. Pics? I already have some Vooper Cobra's ready to go on something I just need to know if I should to go to a 245 60. I was trying to go a little narrower up front for the manual steering and have as little rake as possible front to back. Thanks in advance

That's a stretch on 8's. I would run them on 6 or 7's. I have 255-60's on 7's and that's about the max. What car and fronts or rear? (I hope you will say rear)

71 Charger, 255/60's rear, 215 were for the front...

Ive got some 225/60x15s on 8 1/2s. Biggest i could get on the back, because of too-little backspace on these rims. I bad to narrow up the section width to get them on the car. Too small. And they look it. Sidewall is stretched to bead up, tread is narrower than the rim, section width isnt right.
I doubt that i would run a tire that tall and skinny on an 8" rim on the steering end of the car. And i tend to run some sketchy tire combos anyway.

I have 215/65/15's on 8" rims they look fine seem to work well.
But we needed to hit them with the bead blaster to seat them.

These are 225/70/15 on a 7'' rim. 215's may look small on your car,and a stretch on a 8'' rim.

Thanks guys. Stayed with 255/60r and 215/70r and went with a set of Magnum 500's 15x7 for the front and 8's on the rear from a fellow member.
